So I took some items out of my closet and here is just ONE example of what I'm talking about:
I have an obsession and it has to do with the colors aqua, blue, and green. Yep, these are the items I keep turning to when shopping. I just can't help it. I LOVEEEEEEE these color hues.
Anyone else obsessed with the colors above?
Well just to add to it, I purchased a handbag from T.J. Maxx this past Saturday and voila!:
How cute is this bag? Well I think it is. I adore this color and the studs-you know I love me some studs! It's made by the company "MMS"-not sure about this company-never had something from them but the price was right $40 and the straps make it versatile. I can wear it on the shoulder or I can add the straps for the cross body look. Plus, it's big and not heavy--I hate when bags are heavy without me putting something inside.
Well, as you can see this post is about color---the aqua, blue, green colors, it just calls for me. I just had to share my new obsession :)

The top right picture: the top is from T.J.Maxx and the necklace is from Dillards. The bottom left picture: the jacket is from H&M, and the bottom right picture: the top is from Banana Republic.
I got a manicure done this week and I was not a fan-so much so, I just finished repainting them.
I went to the nail salon and saw a beautiful sparkly pink color by OPI. I loved it so much I chose it for my manicure. Little did I know, that the words "liquid sand" would come to haunt me. As my nails dried I realized the texture of my nails started to look mighty bumpy.
I googled a picture-since I didn't get a chance to take a picture of mine. See below:
As it may look cool on picture-I sure didn't think they were in person. This was not like crackle nail polish, it was bumpy, and I even had a co-worker make a joke about my nails, she said "If I need to file my nails, I'll come to you." Yep, not doing that again. Plus it started to chip by the second day, so I would no recommend it. Have you tried this nail polish? What are your thoughts?

To be part of the Cinco De Mayo spirit, I wanted to make some type of Mexican food that would have a lot less calories. So I searched on google and was surprised to find: Skinnylightful Nachos Supreme
This was right up my alley!
This recipe was easy to follow and quick to make--feeling in the mood for some Nachos--definitely make this at home.
YUM is one word I can say about this! Oh and I have a ton of left over :)
WHOA-I can't believe I haven't blogged for a while....I have been on the go since April started. With work .... especially with May around the corner-I have so much to do and not a lot of time. With that said, no time to really blog--but I do take pictures and know what I would like to blog about if I had the time.
So, lets get to it...some things I wanted to share..first off have you seen the Vaseline commercial, with the body spray:
So I definitely bought this body lotion. WOW is all I can say. It really is "all that and a bag of chips"--lol!!! It sprays nicely, it absorbs quickly, and I just love how nice and sleek it makes my body... so putting on clothes is effortless. Some lotions have you tugging on your pants, but this just makes getting clothes on easier. I give it 3 thumbs up!!! I also love that I can travel with it-the packaging is great, so it won't get smushed in my bag and leak.
Fresh Scents: Oh wow, Victoria Secret has so many new fruity, girly, and fresh body sprays. I'm usually a Bath and Body Works girl, but I had to check out VS with all the great things I heard about their PINK line scents.
Since I do get bored with scents quickly, I bought travel sized body sprays. I purchased "Pretty and Pure", "Fun and Fearless", and I purchased a travel sized hand/body lotion in "Sweet and Flirty". Love it!!!
My new dessert obsession....ice-cream! Not any ice-cream, nope Chick-fil-A vanilla ice-cream. Yep, I'm a fan :)

I get a ton of emails weekly from Groupon. I see a lot of stuff that looks like a deal especially restaurant deals-but I never usually know where these restaurants are, and if they are really good.
This leads to my question, do you Groupon? Have you made purchased on Groupon, and have you been satisfied with them?
Well, I made my first purchase and it was actually a beauty product. Check it out:
The Bed Head Waver. I first checked out the many reviews and youtube video tutorials before I purchased it. This led me to figure that the discount I was getting was worth the product. I can't wait to play with this and really make some great hair waves.
I have the best of both world with my hair (so I've been told), it's actually naturally wavy so I can do pin straight (with a hair iron) or have curly spirals. The issue I find most with my hair happens in the Summer. With the humidity and heat, it doesn't matter how long I take on straightening my hair-it will not stay straight. It will frizz, curl, and change the minute I step outside. With that said, I usually have my hair curly in the Summer. So once I become a pro with this new purchase, I plan on using it during the Summer :)
